The owner, Andreas Kurz, a young man with an energetic presence, watches over the smooth running of the place, both a café and a wine bar. Always dressed in his smile, he readily meets the customers, asking for their impressions and making sure the moment keeps all its softness.

Le Café du Coin is one of those addresses of intimate Switzerland where people come to share a drink, meet friends, converse, observe the city, or simply enjoy the pleasure of being there. The menu offers a fine selection of wines, several caffeinated drinks, as well as delicious homemade pastries.

We encountered a variety of profiles there, including art and culture lovers. Once, a conversation with a former professor turned into a passionate debate on the origin of Pythagoras’ theorem. An unexpected, almost delightful scene, which reveals the nature of the place: exchanges circulate freely there, between erudition, spontaneity, and the pleasure of encounter.

A reading corner completes this atmosphere. There, one can discover magazines, various publications, as well as cultural initiatives or projects devoted to well-being. Reading, curiosity, and discovery thus find their place at the heart of this conviviality.
